Entrance Test or Secondary School Documentation
Trillium College Entrance Test
The Trillium College entrance test can be written in the applicant’s home country under the supervision of a trusted individual, such as a doctor, lawyer, schoolteacher or school principal. The applicant must follow the rules and regulations of the Wonderlic test in order for the test to be accepted.
Secondary School Documentation
International students must provide their translated and evaluated secondary education transcripts by a recognized third party. Requirements for each country can be found here: http://www.wes.org/ca/eca/requireddocuments/.
Please be sure you have the transcript translated into English before submitting it for review.
Admission Requirements
Each program has different admission requirements.
English as a Second Language (ESL) Requirements
The results from different forms of ESL testing can be submitted along with your application. If English isn’t your first language, one of the following tests is required: CAEL A minimum overall score of 60 is required. www.cael.ca IELTS A minimum overall band of 6.0, with no test score below 5.5, is required. www.ielts.org TOEFL Paper-based Test – A minimum score of 550 is required. Internet-based Test – A minimum score of 80, with no single score below 20, is required. Please note that our institution code for TOEFL is 7371. www.toefl.org. Some programs have specific ESL benchmarks that are required for entry.
Immigration Information
Passport: The applicant’s passport must be valid for the entirety of his or her program. Once accepted, the student must provide a photocopy of the passport for his or her file.
Study Visa: A study permit is required for any program of study that is longer than 6 months. As all our programs are at least 6 months in length, all international students are required to obtain a valid study permit in order to attend Trillium College. Health Insurance Requirements
Health insurance is mandatory for all international students studying at Trillium College. You will be required to show proof of having insurance coverage prior to starting your program.
